Powerful New Platform Is Changing Emergency Response Logistics

GAMPS supports crisis management, public safety, and emergency response organizations of any size.

Chesapeake - Virginia, January 09, 2018

Continually increasing incidents of natural and man-made disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, plane crashes, high-rise building collapses, or major nuclear facility malfunctions, are stressing the infrastructure of support among Federal, Regional, State and local emergency management. Coordination of responding resources is a significant and growing problem. Too often, critical information possessed by one team and valuable to another is not easily shared, and the need for an innovative disaster management communication and information system has never been greater.

To address this increasingly obvious need, DART® has developed GAMPS®, a Geospatial Automated Mission Processing System that is now available for Public Safety, Emergency Responders, and Emergency Managers. GAMPS® addresses these critical challenges by streamlining logistics and improving situational awareness with its revolutionary patent-pending platform. The web-based system allows emergency response coordinators to instantly identify all resources in the region, filter by roles, assets, certifications, credentials or any other criteria. Once selected, responders are assigned tasks, notified by push notifications, and placed into encrypted communication chat channels.

Disaster response and recovery efforts require timely interaction and coordination of public emergency services to save lives and property. Significant emergency responses require the use of personnel that are part-time, volunteers, from other departments and organizations, and even from other jurisdictions. Further exacerbating emergency response in this environment is often limited or inadequate situational awareness. Situational analysis is dramatically more difficult when using disparate organizational resources. GAMPS® is THE solution to address these challenges and allow for integration of unlimited resources.

Command dashboards display ongoing mission status, live communications, and digital asset feeds within one team or across multiple agencies. GAMPS® ensures emergency managers, responders, and supervisory personnel are always in tune with the activities in the air, on the ground and/or in the water. The mission portals track planned, active, and complete mission areas. By leveraging this unparalleled situational awareness tool, response operations are completed more rapidly and effectively.

Responders utilize the mobile app LASO® (Land, Air and Sea Operations), also developed by DART®. LASO® is free to responders associated with organizations using the GAMPS platform and is available for Android and iOS devices.

The GAMPS® management platform is sold on a subscription basis and is priced to be a cost-effective solution for any size organization.

“The power and impact of GAMPS® scale up dramatically as adoption spreads,” says Tom Walker, CEO of DART LLC. “We believe that the GAMPS® solution allows agencies to implement quickly, increasing the positive impact on our communities and enhancing resiliency.”

GAMPS® functionally aligns with the DHS National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) and supports the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS). The platform provides direct support to those managing risks across the five national preparedness mission areas of prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery. GAMPS® further aligns with the National Preparedness System called for in Presidential Policy Directive 8 (PPD-8), National Preparedness.
