Just Released: 2026 Edition of National Directory of Law Enforcement Administrators®
Stevens Point - Wisconsin, April 09, 2026
The National Public Safety Information Bureau (NPSIB) announces the release of the 62nd edition of the National Directory of Law Enforcement Administrators® and Correctional Institutions, a vital resource for today’s public safety professionals. This newest edition features comprehensive contact information for more than 36,000 local, state, federal, and specialized law enforcement agencies, including key details such as names, titles, mailing addresses, phone and fax numbers, and departmental demographics.
Created to support the daily operations of law enforcement personnel, the National Directory provides fast, reliable access to critical information used in background investigations, warrant processing, witness location, dispatch coordination, resource management, and more. Its structured organization—covering municipal, county, federal, and specialty agencies—ensures users can quickly find relevant data across all sectors of public safety.
The 2026 edition has been extensively updated, with 62% of all department listings revised to reflect the most current and accurate information available.
“We are excited to introduce the 2026 edition of the National Directory, setting the standard for accuracy and timeliness in law enforcement resources,” said NPSIB. “Our commitment to delivering dependable public safety information remains unwavering, and this directory continues to serve as an essential tool for professionals across the field.
