Innovation Born from Real-World Rescue
The QuickCollar was conceived after inventor Kenney Pierce witnessed firsthand the devastating loss of ten young lives during a 1987 flash flood in Comfort, Texas. In the years that followed, and in collaboration with the San Diego Lifeguard Service, Sheriff's SAR, and ASTREA helicopter teams, Pierce dedicated himself to creating a faster, safer, and more adaptable water-rescue tool.
