What PPE Has Been Meaningfully Improved Since 2001 September 11?
The lack of an adequate PPE-hood has been the fatal problem for decades. Because materials were stiff, conventional head coverings had to be made baggy to cover different sizes. Not only does that create too much gapping to provide effective barrier protection, they also do not fit well. Consequently, few people seem to consider hoods to be useful as protective equipment. Even the category "Hoods" is omitted from PPE listings.
